The game is best enjoyed with a second player with you as it can be a bit too difficult sometimes if you're alone, there's exactly the same number of enemies with the same life amount, which is pretty stupid in terms of game design. A few times you will be able to choose from two different path, but this doesn't happen enough to truly add some replay value. Concerning the gameplay it's a classic rail shooting game (without a cover option like in Time Crisis for example), you shoot, preferably at their weak points, tons of different enemies inspired by the previous Resident Evil games, and try to pick up ammo, money and life by breaking everything you see.

Technically the game looks pretty average for its time and could easily be running on PS2 (like most of the Wii games in 2007) but you could expect better from a rail shooter, there's no framerate or glitch issues just an inherent problem for the controls when you want to change weapon that will annoy you. highly distuctive enviorments (if it's not a wall it will probubly break) & multipul pathes make this a game woth playing. X in white?) it's a lot of fun to play classic missions from new points of view (wesker or Rebecca any one?) & the wepon upgrade system works very well. but the new bosses are hardly inspired (a giant bat? a giant worm? Mr. the classic bosses are amazin (except for Nemises), almost all the classic enimes show up (everything from leaches to chimieras to hunters to crows). however this is definetaly worth playing. Nemisis has been made into a huge loser (he has become just a huge brainless mass & not the Monolith that owned anyone who tried to play Re:3) & the lickers don't act like lickers (they sit there & flick the toungs around for a while then the tongs wip out & they lost their awsome claws). (where's 2?) but it get some things really wrong. it dose a fairly good job of summerizing the plot of Re:0, Re:1, & Re:3.
best when played co-op, however still fun alone.
